Malachi Flynn Underwent Procedure To Fix Fractured Cheekbone

Toronto Raptors guard Malachi Flynn underwent a procedure to correct a fracture to his left cheekbone. Flynn was injured in the third quarter of the Raptors preseason game against the Utah Jazz on Sunday.

Flynn returned to the game, but further examination revealed a small fracture.

Flynn is expected to return before the regular season starts. The third-year point guard will wear a face shield when he returns to the court.
