Michael Rubin Has 'Huge Say' With 76ers
Multiple reports have suggested Michael Rubin played a key role in bringing James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers. Rubin has long been close with Harden and is similarly close with Joel Embiid.
Rubin, who, despite owning around 10 percent of the team, "has a huge say in things there," according to one person familiar with the team's inner workings.
Josh Harris, who is the managing partner of the 76ers, also is hands-on with the franchise.
Rubin previously pushed for the 76ers to pursue Daryl Morey during the 2020 offseason.
Rubin is the CEO of Fanatics.
