For the first time in a quarter century, Queen is poised to take the chart crown.

Live Around The World (EMI), the live collection featuring Adam Lambert on lead vocals, rules the midweek U.K. survey by over 3,000 chart sales, the OCC reports.

The compilation of concert highlights is the U.K.’s best-seller on CD sales and downloads over the past weekend, and is on track to become the legendary rockers’ first leader since 1995’s Made in Heaven, the band’s final studio album which featured Freddie Mercury on the mic.

If Live Around The World holds its position when the Official U.K. Albums Chart is published late Friday, it will mark Queen’s 10th U.K. No. 1 album, and Lambert’s first.

Another iconic British rock band enjoying a revival on the Official Chart Update is Oasis, whose sophomore album (What’s The Story?) Morning Glory (Big Brother) flies high following its vinyl reissue. It’s at No. 2, and is easily the best-seller on vinyl in the first half of the week.

On an Official U.K. Chart Update stuffed with new releases, Bon Jovi is chasing a 16th U.K. Top 5 album with 2020 (EMI) arriving at No. 3, while former Pink Floyd vocalist and bass player Roger Waters could bag a fourth solo Top 10 as his live album Us + Them (Sony Music CG) starts at No. 4.

Rounding out the Top is CMFT (Roadrunner), the first solo album from Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor.

Meanwhile, K-pop girl group Blackpink bow at No. 6 on the midweek survey with their debut Korean-language album The Album (Interscope). Spice Girl Melanie C is on target for her first solo Top 10 album in 17 years with her new self-titled album, via Red Girl. It opens at No. 7 on the Official Chart Update.

Over on the U.K. singles chart race, 24KGoldn is charging towards a third week at No. 1 with “Mood,” featuring Iann Dior.

The highest new entry at the midweek point belongs to D-Block Europe with “UFO” (D-Block Europe) featuring Manchester rapper Aitch. It’s new at No. 11 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart Update and is set to be the Brit Award-nominated London duo’s fifth Top 20 song.
