The First Clip Of Sebastian Stan As Donald Trump In ‘The Apprentice’ Has Been Released

The first clip of Sebastian Stan as Donald Trump in the upcoming film The Apprentice has been released.
Despite threats of legal action from Donald Trump — that, as of yet, have not come to fruition — The Apprentice, which has received rave reviews out of the Cannes and Telluride film festivals, was acquired by production company Briarcliff Entertainment and will be released in theaters on October 11.
The first official clip from The Apprentice shows a young Trump being babied by his infamous handler Roy Cohn as he botches a phone interview about one of his new buildings.

Following the film’s premiere at Cannes early this year, Trump’s legal team threatened litigation and said that the film is “garbage and “pure fiction.”
“We will be filing a lawsuit to address the blatantly false assertions from these pretend filmmakers,” the Trump campaign said in a statement earlier this year.
“This garbage is pure fiction which sensationalizes lies that have been long debunked… this is election interference by Hollywood elites, who know that President Trump will retake the White House and beat their candidate of choice because nothing they have done has worked.”
Perhaps tired of losing so many lawsuits in recent years — particularly when it comes to his false claims about the 2020 election being stolen — the Trump team has opted not to pursue legal action, according to reports, instead hoping that the project will just “fade away.”
Alongside longtime Marvel Cinematic Universe star Sebastian Stan as former President, current Republican nominee, and 34-time (for now) convicted felon Donald Trump, The Apprentice also features Emmy winner Jeremy Strong as his shady lawyer Roy Cohn.
The Apprentice also features Borat 2 and Bodies Bodies Bodies breakout Maria Bakalova as Ivana Trump (Trump’s first of three wives), Martin Donovan, Charlie Carrick, Mark Rendall, and more.
The Apprentice will be released in movie theaters in the United States on Friday, October 11, just a few weeks prior to the 2024 Presidential election. Given the film’s promising reviews, Fall release date, and subject matter, the Ali Abassi-directed film looks like it could be a contender at next year’s Academy Awards.
