Shohei Ohtani’s 50/50 homerun ball is a hot commodity.
Last week, Ohtani became the first player to get 50 home runs and grab 50 steals in a season after hitting a home run during a game in Miami vs the Marlins.
On Friday, Goldin Auctions put the ball up for sale with a starting bid of $500k and the option to buy at $4.5 million. After the first day of the auction, the ball has already received a bid of $1.28 million.

The ball is currently on sale while a lawsuit is taking place over who is the rightful of the ball.
On Thursday, an 18-year-old sued, claiming he had possession of the ball before an older man snatched it from his hands
A judge is allowing the auction to go forward but the ball cannot be sold until after the next court hearing Oct. 10,
