Pricing Confirmed For ‘Venu’ Sports Streaming Mega Bundle At $42.99/Mo With New Details Announced

Earlier this year it was announced that ESPN (Disney), FOX, and Warner Bros. Discovery would be launching a joint mega streaming sports bundle that was later named ‘Venu’ and now we have confirmation on what it will cost each month and what subscribers will receive.
Currently, ESPN+ as a standalone streaming service costs $10.99 per month. The new Venu streaming bundle will be considerably more expensive at $42.99 per month but it will also offer subscribers a lot more than just ESPN+ (which is included).
The new $42.99/month Venu bundle will include a 7-day free trial for anyone who wants to test the waters before committing. It will also launch this Fall and include “thousands of live sports events from all the major professional sports leagues and top college conferences.”
In a press release, it was announced the new mega bundle service will “provide access to 14 sports channels and an expansive library of on-demand content from the collective companies’ portfolios of sports networks and ESPN+.” That would imply that in addition to everything seen on ESPN+, subscribers will receive all the live sports on ESPN, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery channels. That would include the NFL, World Cup, NBA, and more.
I won’t name names here, but for context, I pay only $3 more than Venu’s monthly cost per month for my cable and internet bundle at home and I have 3 boxes (2 DVRs), HBO (includes Max streaming), Showtime, and their sports package as well as my monthly Internet… For just three dollars more per month than this new mega streaming bundle will cost.
My rate is great due to an HOA deal, I’m aware of this, but only paying $3 more for everything I get it would be INSANE for someone like myself to ever double my monthly cost just for Venu.
