While Nikola Jokic was battling the Los Angeles Lakers on the court Monday, his brother Strahinja was throwing punches at Lakers fans in the stands.
The eldest Jokic brother, who is every bit as huge as his brother(s), was seen on video landing a massive right hand to a Lakers fan after Denver’s 20-point comeback.

While Nikola Jokic is relatively mild-mannered, his brothers Strahinja and Nemanja are anything but. In fact, they have a lengthy history of starting altercations both with fellow fans and NBA players.
After an on-court incident between Nikola and then Miami Heat big man Markieff Morris in 2021, the brothers joined Twitter in hopes of intimidating Morris.
“You should leave this the way it is instead of publicly threatening our brother! Your brother made a dirty play first. If you want to make a step further be sure we will be waiting for you !! Jokic Brothers,” they tweeted at the time.
Nikola Jokic’s Older Brother Has History Of Violence
Strahinja Jokic also pleaded guilty in February 2020 to a felony and a misdemeanor after punching and choking a women in a Denver apartment.
“Strahinja Jokic, 37, had been drinking Thursday night and was with a woman in a Denver apartment, according to a police probable cause statement obtained by The Denver Post,” a report stated at the time. “The woman tried to leave the apartment, but Jokic shoved her and wouldn’t let her leave, the document said.”
The police report then claims that the woman tried to call 911, but Jokic took away her phone. She was able to use a computer to send a message to someone she knew who then called the police.
At some point, the NBA is going to half to step in. You can’t have brothers of players routinely beefing with fans. Even if that player is the soon-to-be three-time NBA MVP.
