The Astros Have Broken Yankees Fans And No One Is Buying Tickets For Game 4 In The Bronx

The New York Yankees find themselves in quite the predicament entering Game 4 of the ALCS. The club currently trails the Houston Astros 0-3 in the seven-game series.
Most recently, the Yankees lost at home with ace Gerrit Cole on the mound. That loss might’ve officially broken the fanbase.
Now, it’s not unheard of for a team to dig out of a 0-3 deficit. New York fans know firsthand. Hated rival Boston overcame a three-game disadvantage in the 2004 ALCS to defeat the Yankees on their way to the World Series.
Still, the comeback feat is highly improbable. In fact, that 2004 occurrence is the only time it’s happened in MLB history. So, you can imagine that Yankees supporters are feeling pretty deflated.
That feeling has been confirmed by the recent ticket prices for Game 4.
Game 4 of the ALCS sees $16 ticket prices ahead of Yankees-Astros clash.
You can find tickets for the Game 4 matchup between Houston and New York for as low as $16. And that seems too high according to most Yankees fans.
People have been beaten down in this Astros series. They’ve been heard booing MVP candidate Aaron Judge, and pretty much everyone else that’s struggled in the ALCS. Now, they’re just not going to show up to the park.
Yankees ticket prices are low, but the desire to watch the team potentially get swept in the Bronx is lower.

One fan wrote, “I literally wouldn’t go watch if you paid me $20 to do it,” after seeing the prices. Another posted, “This is sad man,” while calling Yankees fans fair-weather.
This person mentioned that Boston comeback, insinuating that Red Sox fans are more loyal than their Yankee brethren.
“What an amazing franchise!! I remember the Red Sox being down 0-3 bet there was no $20 tickets then!! What great support by and amazing family base in NYC.”
Any time Boston fans can take a dig at New York, they will.
The Bronx Bombers’ season may very well end tonight in Yankee Stadium. We’ll see how many supporters are in attendance.
