Donovan Mitchell 'Screaming Around Golf Course' With Excitement When Notified Of Trade To Cavs
The trade of Donovan Mitchell to the Cleveland Cavaliers caught everyone off guard, including Mitchell himself. But when Mitchell found who was, and more importantly wasn't, in the deal, he was elated.
ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported that Mitchell was playing golf when he was notified of the deal and the details. When Mitchell found out Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland and Kevin Love weren't in the trade, he "went screaming around the golf course" in excitement.
Windhorst added about Mitchell that "he's extremely excited in this moment. I'm sure he would love to have been a (New York) Knick, that's his hometown. But he's extremely excited in the moment."
