College Football Fans Are Angry ESPN Keeps Cutting To Baseball For Aaron Judge HR Watch
Aaron Judge is about to make history but college football fans don’t care.
Earlier this week, ESPN announced they were going to cut into their college football coverage to show Judge’s at-bats as he attempts to become the American League single-season home-run record holder.
ESPN hoping Aaron Judge's record HR is hit on 'Sunday Night Baseball.' Until then, it's offering cut-in's to AB's.
“Fans look to ESPN to document biggest moments in sports + we’re looking forward to capturing more history on our air,” said Burke Magnus.https://t.co/J7avUdSSJA

College football didn’t appreciate that ESPN was cutting into baseball coverage in the middle of football games.
“Watching Clemson-Wake. And ESPN decided to go split screen for Judge’s AB. Why? Who is this for? Who is watching an ACC matchup thinking “gee, I wonder what’s happening with new york’s baseball team?”

“I cant imagine a more tone deaf idea than to cut to NY Yankee baseball on all ESPN platforms during a CFB Saturday because of something Aaron Judge is doing. So dumb and an idea from 1980’s world of content”

“The way ESPN has been shoving pro baseball in everyone’s face (Judge and Pujols) is kinda weird. The people who care are already watching, I don’t think Clemson-Wake watchers care MORE about the Yankees than the game they were watching.”

“I AM BEING SUBJECTED TO BASEBALL TEAMS THAT ARE NOWHERE NEAR AUBURN AND MISSOURI AGAIN “WHY ARE YOU SHOWING ME A MEANINGLESS RECORD ESPN”

My god I had forgotten how boring baseball was until ESPN forced it upon us during a critical drive in this Auburn-Mizzou game

Sam Hartman with a DIME to Donavon Greene for the 28 yard TD — with the Yankee game call because ESPN keeps forcing us to watch Aaron Judge not hit a HR/strike out. pic.twitter.com/9k1qQoXKeV
