Sixers To Pick Up Team Option For Shake Milton
The Philadelphia 76ers are planning to pick up their team option for Shake Milton for the 2022-23 season. This will put almost $2 million on the Sixers books for next season.
Milton suffered through an injury-plagued fourth season and saw his production drop off some from his third season. His scoring fell from 13 points per game to 8.2 points per game. His shooting dipped from 45% overall and 35% on three-pointers to 43% and 32%, respectively.
Still, Milton remains a tremendous value at just under $2 million for the upcoming season. He'll fill a backup guard role behind starters James Harden and Tyrese Maxey.
