Lyrics Born – Mobile Homies: Season 1 (Album Stream)
Inspired by his podcast of the same name that Lyrics Born created during the initial COVID quarantine to bond and stay in touch with fellow rap peers, he collected a massive array of friends and collaborators for a new record of bombastic tracks. For this radically collaborative release, Lyrics Born brought in a staggering number of musicians and producers. Working with ten different producers on twelve tracks was not only a completely new experience in the studio for him but also a social project that brought new energy and spirit to each track. Just some of the collaborators include Rakaa (Dilated Peoples), Dan the Automator, Blackalicious, Cutso, Lateef the Truthspeaker, Con Brio, Galactic, Shing02, and more.
