- Benedict Cumberbatch, who stars in the film, says it’s one of the “most ambitious” superhero films ever made.
After being attached to Spider-Man: No Way Home as one of the two post-credit scenes, Marvel Studios has officially released the first trailer for the highly-anticipated Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
While the trailer is full of insane multiversal aspects, the obvious highlight is the appearance of a seemingly evil version of Doctor Strange, which very well could be the Doctor Strange Supreme that was seen in the Disney+ animated series What If…?.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness — which stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Xochitl Gomez — is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on May 6, 2022.
