Kings Sign Damien Jefferson, Ade Murkey To Camp Deals
The Sacramento Kings have signed Damien Jefferson and Ade Murkey. Both players are expected to have signed non-guaranteed training camp deals.
Jefferson went undrafted out of Creighton at the 2021 NBA Draft. He appeared briefly in two Las Vegas Summer League games for the Kings. As a senior, Jefferson averaged 11.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for Creighton.
Ade Murkey played for the Iowa Wolves in the 2021 G League bubble. In 13 games last season, Murkey averaged 7.1 points. He averaged 8.0 points in five games with Sacramento during Las Vegas Summer League.
Both players are expected to play for the Stockton Kings as Affiliate Players following the preseason.
