NBA Will Withhold Game Checks If Unvaccinated Players Can't Play
The NBA will withhold game checks for any players who are faced to miss games due to the executive orders governing vaccination requirements in New York and San Francisco.
"Any player who elects not to comply with local vaccination mandates will not be paid for games that he misses," Mike Bass, the NBA's executive vice president of communications, said in a statement Wednesday morning.
The order is currently slated to impact the compensation and availability of Kyrie Irving and Andrew Wiggins.
The New York Knicks have previously said that their entire organization is fully vaccinated and in compliance with the law in New York City.
