The NFL’s concussion protocols are put in place to protect players from major head injuries but it seems like there are still cracks in the system.
In the fourth quarter of the Sunday Night Football game between the Packers and Niners, Green Bay wide receiver Davante Adams took a huge hit to the head and laid motionless on the ground for about two minutes.
Despite the fact that Adams was knocked out cold, he was allowed back in the game just a few plays later. Fans were not happy about officials allowing Adams back into the game despite the fact that he took a huge hit just moments earlier.
