2021 Emmy Awards: Complete Winners List

The Crown’s Olivia Colman, Ted Lasso’s Jason Sudeikis, and multihyphenate Debbie Allen took home some of the top honors during the 2021 Emmy Awards, which was broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 19.

Highlights from the ceremony include Leon Bridges and Jon Batiste performing a stripped-down rendition of “River,” a song from Bridges’ 2015 debut album Coming Home, over the In Memoriam segment. There were also a variety of sketches starring some of TV’s recognizable names including New Girl’s Zooey Deschanel and Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander.

Cedric The Entertainer opened the show with an audience-assisted sing-a-long version of Biz Markie’s “Just A Friend.”
