Taylor Swift’s ‘Evermore’ Extends Reign Atop Australia’s Albums Chart

Taylor Swift isn’t giving up her chart crown in Australia this week.
The U.S. pop superstar’s lockdown album Evermore locks onto top spot on the ARIA Albums Chart for a fourth successive cycle.
Evermore now equals the run at No. 1 by Swift’s previous album, Folklore. Just one album from her catalog has logged more time at the top, 1989, with a total of nine weeks.
Swift’s presence is felt up and down the current chart, which also features Folklore (down 4-7), 1989 (up 48-31) and Lover (up 39-34).
In a result that mirrors the top tier of the U.K. tally, Evermore is followed on the ARIA Chart by Harry Styles’ Fine Line, which improves 5-2 for its 52nd week in the Top Ten.
Fine Line, the current leader on the ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart, gets a push thanks to the viral video for “Treat People with Kindness” featuring Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Meanwhile, The Kid LAROI is back in the high life as the deluxe edition of his debut mixtape F*ck Love (Savage) rises 6-3, equaling its chart peak. It’s a third time at No. 3 for F*ck Love. The rising, Australian-born and raised rapper earned three nominations at the 2020 ARIA Awards.
In a rare sight, no new releases impact the ARIA Albums Chart this week.
It’s an unchanged Top 3 on the ARIA Singles Chart, which is led by 24kGoldn featuring Iann Dior’s “Mood,” as it clocks up week 11 at No. 1.
The Kid LAROI’s “Without You” and Joel Corry and MNEK’s “Head & Heart” complete the podium, while Justin Bieber has the week’s highest new entry with “Anyone,” new at No. 5.
Finally, record-smashing Aussie singer and songwriter Tones And I has a third Top 10 single as “Fly Away” lifts 11-8. The four-time ARIA Award-winner previously ruled the chart for a record 24 weeks with “Dance Monkey” and peaked at No. 7 with “Never Seen The Rain.”
