It’s a new year, but the same, familiar story for Taylor Swift who enters a third straight week at No. 1 in Australia with Evermore.

Swift’s lockdown LP has now logged only one less week at the summit than her previous album folklore, which this week lifts 10-4.

Holding at No. 2 on the first ARIA Albums Chart for 2021 is AC/DC’s Power Up, which notched four consecutive weeks at No. 1 after its release and can now boast seven weeks in the Top Three, equaling the effort of 2008’s Black Ice.

While Christmas is fast becoming a distant memory, that’s not the case for Michael Bublé classic holiday album. On the latest frame, Christmas improves 4-3 in its 80th week in the Top 50.

Harry Styles’ former leader Fine Line completes the Top 5, with a 13-5 lift.

The highest new entry on the survey is Playboi Carti’s Billboard 200 leader Whole Lotta Red, which bows at No. 15 for the rapper’s highest peak yet. Red is the follow-up to 2018’s Die Lit, which has a chart best of No. 49.

Over on the ARIA Singles Chart, 24kGoldn’s triple-platinum “Mood” featuring Iann Dior gains 3-1 for a tenth non-consecutive week at the top, while last week’s champion, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” dips 1-4.

Sydney-raised, Los Angeles-based hip-hop artist The Kid Laroi has a new peak with “Without You,” up 4-2. It’s one of the newcomer’s two tracks in this week’s Top Ten, with “So Done” improves 11-10, while the deluxe edition of his ARIA Award-nominated debut mixtape F*ck Love (Savage) lifts 15-6.

Also making a notable gain on the singles survey is Ed Sheeran’s “Afterglow,” which blasts 47-7 for the British singer-songwriter’s 20th Top Ten single in these parts.

Finally, Tones And I is closing in on a third Top 10 with “Fly Away,” which spreads its wings for a new peak of No. 11 in its seventh week on the chart. Tones broke national records with her breakthrough debut single “Dance Monkey” which logged 24 weeks at No. 1 in Australia. Its followup “Never Seen The Rain” reached No. 7 last December.
