Taylor Swift is in record-setting form in Australia, where her ninth studio album Evermore starts at No. 1 on the national albums chart and its lead track “Willow” rules the singles survey on debut.

Evermore is Swift’s seventh career No. 1 in the land Down Under, and 12 of its 15 tracks enter this week’s ARIA Top 50, led by “Willow,” her seventh No. 1 single.

Her latest chart double comes just four months after she doubled-up with Folkmore and “Cardigan,” respectively. Folklore is at No. 9 on the current frame, while previously leaders 1989 is at No. 45 and Lover is at No. 47.

By landing two No. 1 albums in just 19 weeks, Swift sets a new ARIA Charts record for the shortest space between successive No. 1 albums, easily beating the 25 weeks separating Ariana Grande’s Sweetener (No. 1 in August 2018) and Thank U, Next (No. 1 in February 2019).

With Christmas just around the corner, Delta Goodrem’s Only Santa Knows jingles up the albums chart 12-2, for a new chart peak. Its climb follows the Dec. 12 airing of the Delta At Christmas special on the free-to-air Nine TV network.

Twenty years after the release of their cut ‘n’ paste masterpiece Since I Left You, Australian electronic act Avalanches crash into the albums chart at No. 4 with We Will Always Love You, their third album. We Will Always Love You is the followup to Wildflower, which ruled the ARIA Albums Chart in 2016.

Competing the Top 5 is iconic rockers Cold Chisel’s The Live Tapes Vol. 5: Live At The Bondi Lifesaver Feb 29, 1980, new at No. 5. Jimmy Barnes and Co. topped the ARIA Albums Chart a year ago with the studio set Blood Moon.

With Taylor Swift flooding the ARIA Singles Chart and snatching top spot, 24kGoldn’s hit “Mood” featuring Iann Dior dips 1-2 and The Kid LAROI’s “Without You” lifts 9-3, for a new peak. It’s the ARIA Award-nominated Sydney rapper’s highest appearance on the chart, eclipsing the No. 8 peak of his previous single “So Done.”
