Here’s Where Every Song from BTS’ ‘BE’ Album Debuts on the Billboard Global Charts

Following the Nov. 21 release of BTS’ album BE, the South Korean megastars chart all seven songs from the set on both the Dec. 5-dated Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. Six songs from the album debut on each tally, while the act’s former chart-topper “Dynamite” continues on each ranking and is part of BE’s tracklist. In all, BTS logs seven songs on the former chart and eight on the latter, where 2019’s “Boy With Luv,” featuring Halsey, also appears.
In total, the album’s seven charting songs combined for 351.9 million streams and 368,000 in digital sales worldwide in the week ending Nov. 26, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
As previously reported, the album’s opening track, “Life Goes On,” debuts atop both global rankings, while “Dynamite” returns at Nos. 2 (Global Excl. U.S.) and 3 (Global 200), making BTS the first act to ever simultaneously hold the top two positions on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.
“Dynamite,” the group’s first-ever English-language single, previously topped the Global Excl. U.S. listing for five weeks and the Global 200 for three.
From there, the rest of the album’s songs pack the top 40 of both charts, led by “Blue & Grey” at No. 9 on the Global 200 and No. 15 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. See below for a full rundown of the songs’ current ranks.

The predominantly Korean-language album essentially performs better on the Global 200, which includes U.S.-based data, than the Excl. U.S. chart, bucking the trend of most South Korean and Japanese acts (and non-English-language songs in general), such as BLACKPINK, Lisa and Twice. BTS claims three simultaneous top 10 hits on the Global 200 as opposed to two on the Excl. U.S. chart, and hits the top 30 with seven songs on the former list, versus five on the latter.
“Fly to My Room” is the group’s only song to debut higher on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, at No. 20, than on the Global 200, where it starts at No. 22.
Also perhaps surprisingly, BTS’ 2019 hit “Boy With Luv” is No. 130 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, while absent on the Global 200. Despite the group’s new material performing slightly stronger on the Global 200, the act shines brighter on the Global Excl. U.S. tally with an older title that features an American artist with substantial history on Billboard’s U.S.-based charts.
Meanwhile, BTS is the first group to simultaneously conquer the Billboard Artist 100, Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100, as it opens atop the latter two lists with BE and “Life Goes On,” respectively. Plus, “Life Goes On” is first song sung primarily in Korean to top the Hot 100 in the chart’s 62-year history.
