Steelers-Ravens Game Likely To Get Postponed Again After Lamar Jackson And Four More Ravens Test Positive For Covid-19

Earlier this week, the Steelers-Ravens game was postponed from Thanksgiving night to Sunday after several Ravens players tested positive for Covid-19. It now appears that the rescheduled game on Sunday is in jeopardy of being played after it was revealed that Lamar Jackson and four others in the organization had tested positive for the coronavirus.

If four more players did indeed test positive and Jackson is among them, that would mean a minimum of 14 players will be on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Those that test positive are held out for a minimum of 10 days, per the NFL’s protocols. Those that are labeled as a “close contact” are held out for a minimum of five days, barring any positive tests or symptoms appearing.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter a league source told him there’s “no way” the Steelers and Ravens will be able to play on Sunday.
On Wednesday the Ravens revealed they had disciplined a member of the coaching staff who violated Covid protocols and may have been the cause of the outbreak.
