Gigi Hadid & Zayn Welcome Their First Baby Together

Baby Zigi has finally arrived! Gigi Hadid and Zayn welcomed their first baby girl together.
The model’s father Mohamed Hadid posted a touching handwritten letter to his granddaughter on Instagram Wednesday (Sept. 16). “Hello little grandchild, it is me, my heart as happy as can be. I wish for you the sun & moon, I wish for you a happy time,” the poem read. “Know that Grandpa’s always near, I’ll do anything, anything for you my dear. When I heard you were on the way, I smiled and wiped a tear away. I cried the tear because I knew, my heart would always belong to you. Mohamed Hadid.”
Zayn confirmed the good news. The former One Direction singer shared a post on social media. “Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful,” he wrote.
“To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together.”

On Tuesday (Sept. 15), Hadid’s younger sister and fellow model Bella posted an older photo of them showing off their “buns in the oven,” which the younger Hadid clarified, “only except mine is from my burger and gigi’s is from @zayn. i love you both so freaking much -can’tstopcrying.”
The two have been quarantining with her parents and younger sister on the Hadid family’s farm outside of New Hope, Penn.
After TMZ initially reported Hadid’s pregnancy, the 25-year-old model confirmed the happy news to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on April 30. “Obviously, we wish we could have announced it on our own terms,” she told Fallon at the time. “We’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support.”
She and the former One Directioner have been romantically linked since 2015. A year after they first started dating, Hadid starred in the 2016 music video for his Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Pillowtalk.”
Zayn is the third member of One Direction to become a father, following Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne.
