Luke Combs Marries Nicole Hocking: ‘Best Day of My Life’

Congratulations are in order for Luke Combs and Nicole Hocking, who got married in Florida on Saturday (Aug. 1).
Despite a threat from tropical storm Isaias, the happy couple was married at their home in southern Florida during an intimate ceremony with family and friends, according to People.
“Yesterday was the best day of my life. I got to marry my best friend. I love you @nicohocking, here’s to forever,” Combs wrote on Instagram alongside a series of joyous photos on the beach with his new wife.
Hocking also shared her excitement about the big day on social media, writing, “I’m so happy to spend the rest of my life with you! Although we wish would could have had every single one of our family & friends there, we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone next year!”
Combs and Hocking announced their engagement in 2018 after two years of dating. The couple met while Hocking was working at BMI in Nashville.
The country singer shared the exciting news about his engagement with a sunset photo of the pair during a Hawaiian getaway.
“She said yes a while ago, but this is a way better place to take pictures than the kitchen,” Combs captioned his IG post. “Can’t wait to spend forever with you @nicohocking. I love you!”
Days later, Hocking shared a snapshot of her emerald-cut diamond engagement ring and shared some loving words about her future husband.
“I always said if I was to ever get married, I didn’t want to pick out the ring or go ring shopping. I wanted it to be something that when he saw it, he knew that it was the one.. & boyyyyyy did he out do himself,” she wrote on Instagram. “I never thought a ring could mean so much to me. I love you Luke Albert Combs, I’m going to marry the hell outta you.”
