The PS5 Is Currently Available To Preorder For $700

The PlayStation 5 is currently up for preorder on popular import site Play-Asia, and the price is a bit steep.
For those in the US wanting to preorder the standard optical drive version of the PS5 today you’d have to put down $699 and $79 for a dualsense controller.

It is worth noting that Sony still hasn’t officially announced the price or release date of the PS5 and this could just be a placeholder until they reveal the price of the console at a later date.

On Thursday Sony revealed the PlayStation 5’s design for the first time during their livestream event. Sony also announced the initial lineup of PlayStation 5 games which includes “Spider-Man: Miles Morales,” “Gran Turismo 7,” “Resident Evil: Village,” and “Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.”
