Liam Gallagher is plugged in for a third solo No. 1 in the U.K.

The former Oasis frontman blasts to the top of the midweek albums chart as his live LP MTV Unplugged (Warner Records) outsells the rest of the top 5 combined, the Official Charts Company reports.

If the set holds its spot when the Official U.K. Albums Chart is published this Friday (June 19), it’ll continue a streak for Gallagher, which began with As You Were (from 2017) and continued with his sophomore album Why Me?

Recorded in Hull City Hall, MTV Unplugged has generated the most physical sales — CD and vinyl – and is the most downloaded release in the first half of the week, according to the OCC.

The album was due to be released April 24 but was delayed when the vinyl manufacturing plant pressing the LP was temporarily closed during the health crisis.

Gallagher already has ten No. 1s to his name, eight of which were bagged during his time with Oasis. After splitting with the Britpop-era heavyweights, the Manchester singer led the band Beady Eye, whose two albums cracked the top 3. Neither managed to hit the summit.

Also starting high on the Official Midweek Chart is Love Death & Dancing (Island) by former BRITs Critics’ Choice winner Jack Garratt. Its new at No. 3, the same peak position for Garratt’s 2016 debut set Phase.

Welsh alternative rock legends Manic Street Preachers see their 1993 classic Gold Against The Soul (Columbia) return to the chart at No. 5, following a reissue campaign, while rock legends Thin Lizzy’s career retrospective The Essential (Spectrum Music) starts at No. 8.

Also, new releases from Kodaline (One Day at a Time via B-Unique, at No. 11), Larkin Poe (Self-Made Man via Tricki-Woo, at No. 17) and Norah Jones (Pick Me up Off the Floor via EMI, at No. 19) are poised to impact the top 20.

Over in the U.K. singles chart race, “Rockstar” (Interscope) by DaBaby featuring Roddy Ricch continues to set the pace. The viral hit holds at No. 1 ahead of “Rain On Me” (Interscope) by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande while Tekashi 6ix9ine and Nicky Minaj’s “Trollz” (Scumgang) is the fastest-starting debut, at No. 5.
