Colin Kaepernick Reportedly Drawing ‘Healthy Buzz’ From Several NFL Teams

It seems like Colin Kaepernick might actually end up on an NFL roster next season after all.
Less then a week after Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll revealed that a team had called him inquiring about Kaepernick, ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler says Kaep’s name has been generating “healthy buzz” among league circles.
According to Fowler, his league sources believe the Titans are the best fit for Kaep right now.
Colin Kaepernick — there’s been some healthy buzz that he could potentially get a job,” “And so, with Seattle coach Pete Carroll floating that a team called about Kaepernick, I asked league sources who did they think would be that team right now, who’s the best fit for him and a couple of options? Tennessee Titans, because they love to run that play action. (Starter) Ryan Tannehill, using his athleticism, they don’t have that natural backup right now. So that would be a good fit.
Fowley goes on to say that his sources believe other teams like Washington, Jacksonville, and the LA Chargers could potentially be interested in Kaepernick.
“And then the (lack) of quarterback quality — places like Washington, Jacksonville. Those are options, potentially. And then the Los Angeles Chargers because they have (first-round pick) Justin Herbert, the rookie. If they want to give him a true redshirt year, they could roll with (veteran) Tyrod Taylor, an athletic quarterback, with Kaepernick right behind him.”
From the outside looking in it seems like teams are ready to sign Kaepernick to show that they’re serious about addressing criticisms from the Black Lives Matter movement following the death of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer.
