NBA Plans To Keep Playing If Player Tests Positive For COVID-19 Again
If the NBA resumes the 19-20 season, the league doesn't plan on having a stoppage of play if a player tests positive.
Adam Silver said any player(s) will be isolated in quarantine and the outbreak will be limited as daily testing will have begun. Silver also mentioned there could be a two-day break.
The NBA is also projecting a one-year timetable on a COVID-19 vaccine, which means the 20-21 season will also be impacted.
Silver also admitted the NBA "couldn't start now even if we wanted to."
"We're going to have to find a way to work through this," Silver told players. "This could turn out to be the single greatest challenge of all of our lives.
"Until there is a vaccine or some magical cocktail that prevents people from dying from this virus, we are going to be dealing with it, collectively."
