With businesses around the world slowly reopening during the coronavirus pandemic, one German cafe has an ingenious way to get people to keep a social distance from each other.
The owners of the Cafe Rothe in Schwerin opened their doors last weekend and to keep people apart from each other they had everyone wear pool noodles on their heads.
Oh my god, this is amazing. A German cafe is making people wear swimming pool noodles as hats to enforce social distancing.

Rothe, 52, told CNN numerous happy customers flocked to the cafe to enjoy a coffee, cake or a beer in the sunshine.
“This was the perfect method to keep customers apart — and a fun one,” she said, explaining that local TV company RTL, which was filming the reopening of cafes and restaurants, came up with the idea.
“It was a perfect gag and of course it was funny, our customers were really into it. But what it did show to us (was) how difficult it is to keep a distance of 1.5 meters (4.9 feet),” said Rothe, who said she was surprised by the attention her photo got in media outlets around the world.

We’re likely to see more creative to enforce social distancing during these strange times but as long as everyone is keep safing I don’t see any hard from it.
I would definitely wear pool noodles on my head if it meant I could step foot in a bar https://t.co/X1R7PJfGZ3
