Board Of Governors Expected To Approve Resumption Of NBA Season With 20-To-22 Teams

The NBA will hold a vote of the Board of Governors on Thursday.

The owners are expected to approve Adam Silver's recommendation on a format to restart the 19-20 season in Orlando. The expectation is that invitations will be sent for 20-to-22 teams to participate.

Silver met with the Board of Governors on Friday and discussed four separate return-to-play scenarios.

The current target date for the season to resume is July 31st.
