The world is, no doubt, in a strange moment. With the coronavirus forcing much of humanity to shelter in place, one of the only ways to travel is through the transportive powers of a big old trance anthem. Luckily, Moldovan genre mainstay Andrew Rayel is back with a new one.
Premiering exclusively on Billboard Dance and made with fellow trance producer Robbie Seed with vocals from That Girl, “Stars Collide” is an emotive and brightly uplifting banger that will likely get your arms in the air and might even elicit a few tears in your eyes. Out Friday via Armada Music, the track will be featured on label boss Armin Van Buuren’s A State Trance 2020 compilation, due April 26.
“‘Stars Collide’ is a record that I hope everyone will feel as strongly about it as we do,” Rayel tells Billboard Dance. “Life has so many ups and downs; one day our lives are normal, the next day we’re adapting to day-by-day change. I hope this song will help you through the times we’re in, emotionally, spiritually and most importantly in feeling connected to something or someone.”
