Before the announcement, Dolan and the Knicks told the press they were paying all staff their full salaries until mid-May despite the stoppage in the NBA season.
Not everyone is doing this so James Dolan paying Garden and Radio City staff workers from March 12th to May 3 plus setting up a $3.2M relief fund is generous offering. Union heads are very pleased.
