Moog and Korg release synthesiser apps for free during social distancing

As the coronavirus pandemic sweeps the world, forcing schools, workplaces, and public gatherings to shut down, governments and communities are encouraging social distancing and self-isolation.
The struggle here, of course, is that self-isolation can be very boring – but for musicians needing to occupy their time, Moog and Korg have you sorted.
The two synthesiser companies have released some of their synth apps for free for a limited time. Moog’s Minimoog Model D iOS app and Korg’s iKaossilator iOS and Android apps are both available right now.
Moog described this as “a gift to spread positivity, creativity, and expressivity. A moment to slow down, appreciate our innate strength, & experience the uplifting power of sound.”
Korg, meanwhile, said: “with many people self-quarantining and working from home, we wanted to help you occupy your time a little”.
