Historic Grammy Wins Spark Billie Eilish's Return to No. 1 on Artist 100 Chart

She leads for an eighth total week.

Billie Eilish returns to No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Feb. 8), surging from No. 6, to become the top musical act in the U.S. for an eighth total week, as she scored significant gains in sales, streams and chart placement following her performance and five wins at the 62nd Grammy Awards on Jan. 26.

Highlighting her historic night at the Grammys, Eilish became the first woman, and second artist ever, after Christopher Cross in 1981, to sweep the four major Grammy categories in the same year: album, record and song of the year and best new artist.

Eilish's LP When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? leaps 10-3 on the Billboard 200 (after spending three weeks at No. 1), up 77% to 62,000 equivalent album units in the tracking week ending Jan. 30, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. Plus, her prior effort Don't Smile at Me jumps 33-22, up 36% to 23,000 units.

On the Billboard Hot 100, Eilish's latest single, "Everything I Wanted," returns to the top 10, bounding 23-10 (after debuting at its No. 8 high in November), while former No. 1 "Bad Guy" vaults 41-17, after it won for record and song of the year at the Grammys.

With her eighth week atop the Artist 100, Eilish passes Bruno Mars for the ninth-most weeks spent at No. 1. Taylor Swift holds the record for the most weeks in charge, with 37.

The Artist 100, which launched in 2014, measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

Rounding out the Artist 100's top five, Roddy Ricch rises 4-2, as his hit "The Box" tops the Hot 100 for a fourth week; Eminem dips to No. 3 after logging his fourth nonconsecutive week at No. 1; Post Malone pushes 5-4; and Halsey drops 2-5.
