Mike D'Antoni After Fourth Straight Rockets' Loss: 'When It Rains, It Pours, And It's Pouring'
Mike D'Antoni said that the Houston Rockets need to hold themselves accountable and keep fighting following their 112-107 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
It was their fourth straight loss, and fifth loss in six games.
"Right now, we're in a period where if something is going to go bad, it goes bad. When it rains, it pours, and it's pouring. ... You can choose to look at yourself and do better. I'll do the same, and if everybody does the same, we're fine. But if we don't do that and we start listening and start questioning this and that, then we have problems," said D'Antoni following the loss.
The Rockets were outscored 41-20 in the fourth quarter.
James Harden added that the team needed to put together a complete game.
"You're playing well, playing well and then just stop doing the things that get us the lead. Sooner or later, we're going to put a four-quarter game together and build off that. We're more than capable. We show really good signs. We just have some lapses."
