LeBron James surpassed Michael Jordan for fourth place on the all-time field goals made list during the Los Angeles Lakers' 129-114 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

James finished the game with 35 points, 16 rebounds, and 7 assists.

James surpassed Jordan on a lay-up in the 3rd quarter, his 12,193rd made field goal in 1,234 games. Jordan had 12,192 made field goals in 1,072 games.

"You said the name Michael Jordan; it just means so much to me. Any time I'm linked with his name, with his greatness and what he was able to do with the game. Hopefully, I continue to make him and all the other greats proud. Any time I'm linked with them," said James following the game.
