Harry Styles, Tones And I Score Christmas No. 1s In Australia

Harry Styles is enjoying Christmas in style. The British pop star’s sophomore solo album Fine Line (Columbia/Sony) bows at No. 1 in Australia, helping the singer to the Christmas No. 1 and earning him a chart record in the process.
With Fine Line, Styles racks up a sixth No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart -- including four with One Direction -- a record for the 2010s. Fine Line is also the best-selling album in the United States right now, where it starts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Styles also swamps the Australian singles survey this week with five entries, led by “Adore You,” up 14- 7.
Also on the national albums chart this week, Robbie Williams’ The Christmas Present (Columbia/Sony) holds at No. 2; Michael Bublé’s perennial hit Christmas (Reprise/Warner) is unchanged at No. 3; Cold Chisel’s Blood Moon (Cold Chisel/Universal) slips from the summit last week to No. 4; while the Frozen 2 soundtrack (Walt Disney/Universal) loses one place to complete the top 5.
British grime star Stormzy just misses out on a spot in the top ten with his sophomore album Heavy Is The Head (Atlantic/Warner). It’s new at No. 11, the same position his debut album Gang Signs And Prayer debuted and peaked at in March 2017.
Over on the ARIA Singles Chart, Tones And I extends her record-smashing reign with “Dance Monkey” (Bad Batch/Sony), which enters a 21st week at No. 1. “Dance Monkey” has ruled the singles survey for six weeks longer than the previous record holder, Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” (Asylum/Warner).
Tones' follow-up single, the double-platinum “Never Seen The Rain,” has logged eight weeks inside the top ten and dips 9-8 on the current frame, while her debut EP The Kids Are Coming remains in the top ten of the ARIA Albums Chart, dipping 9-10. “Dance Monkey” is now seven-times platinum certified.
For the second year in a row, Mariah Carey’s holidays classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” (Columbia/Sony) impacts the Australian top ten. It’s up 11-10.
And finally, Trevor Daniel’s “Falling” (Interscope/Universal) is flying on the ARIA Singles Chart after turning into a viral tune on TikTok. The emerging U.S. singer and songwriter’s 2018 track is the highest new entry this week at No. 14, for his first appearance on the ARIA Singles Chart.
