Kane Brown Releases Heartfelt Song 'For My Daughter' 2 Days After Her Birth

Kane Brown has a new muse in his life, and she's just 2 days old: He released the song "For My Daughter" on Friday (Nov. 1) for his first-born, Kingsley Rose.
Brown gets extremely personal in the chorus, discussing how "history repeats itself," but since he grew up without his father, the country singer promises his little one, "I'm gonna be the best one I can be." He chronicles what Kinglsey Rose will go through as she grows up -- playing catch, getting heartbroken, feeling scared by monsters and craving tattoos -- in the father-daughter ballad.
Brown hinted at "For my Daughter" before his daughter arrived. Back in September, he posted a screenshot of a note with the chorus written down, captioning the post, "Song to my baby girl."
