EXO Prepare to Fight in Captivating Concept Trailer Video For 'Obsession' Album: Watch

Ever since announcing their upcoming Obsession album at the start of this month, anticipation has been growing among fans of EXO for details about the upcoming sixth album from the K-pop group, and today the act has served up a dynamic, futuristic concept trailer to give a sneak peak at what is to come.

The aggressive, fantastical video, which is just over a minute long, cinematically splices shots of the six active EXO members with panormas of natural phenomena, many of which relate to previous concepts featured in the group’s music videos and discography over the years. It ends with member Sehun preparing to fire an arrow, and has and the phrase, "Let the fight begin.”

The video was shared to Twitter with using the hashtag "We are one EXO," a nod to the group's longtime slogan and Twitter handle, but also the mirrored phrase, "EXO one are we," as well as a link to another Twitter account that similarly parallels the group's primary one, spurring fans theorizing that the new video teases the music video for Obsession's single will reveal a battle between EXO and clones of the group, known as X-EXO.

Obsession is EXO’s first album since last year’s Love Shot, an extended version of November’s Don’t Mess Up My Tempo, which peaked at No. 23 on the Billboard 200. The album will feature six members of the nine member team — Suho, Chen, Chanyeol, Sehun, Baekhyun, and Kai — as the other three members of the act are currently either on hiatus while fulfilling South Korea’s mandatory military service — Xiumin and D.O. — or pursuing a solo career in China, like Lay
