Chris Isaak's sultry classic "Wicked Game" crowns a Billboard chart for the first time, returning atop the Rock Digital Song Sales tally dated Nov. 9.

Isaak's breakthrough single, which hit No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in March 1991, re-enters Rock Digital Song Sales with a 984% blast to 5,000 digital downloads sold in the Oct. 25-31 tracking week, according to Nielsen Music.

Sparking the surge, the tune was covered by Cali Wilson during the opening round of knockouts on the 17th season premiere of The Voice on Oct. 28.

The original's metrics are sizable enough to land it at No. 15 on the streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Hot Rock Songs chart (where older titles are allowed to appear if in the top half and if showing a meaningful reason for their gains).

In addition to its downloads total, Isaak's version accrued  873,000 on-demand U.S. streams in the tracking week, up 15%.

Along with its top 10 Hot 100 showing, "Wicked Game" reached No. 2 on the Alternative Songs airplay chart, No. 10 on Mainstream Rock Songs and No. 12 on Adult Contemporary in 1991.
