Celine Dion's 'Courage' Aiming for No. 1 Debut on Billboard 200 Chart

Celine Dion’s new album Courage is aiming for a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 chart, according to industry forecasters. Those in the know suggest the set, which was released Nov. 15 via Columbia Records, could launch with around 120,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Nov. 21.
If Courage starts at No. 1, it will garner Dion her fifth No. 1, and her first since 2002’s A New Day Has Come.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The top 10 of the Nov. 30-dated Billboard 200 chart (where Courage could debut at No. 1) is scheduled to be revealed on Billboard’s websites on Sunday, Nov. 24.
Also heading for a high debut on the next Billboard 200 is Tory Lanez’s new Chixtape 5 album. Forecasters suggest it could possibly bow at No. 2 with around 90,000 equivalent album units earned. If it starts as expected, it would secure Lanez is fourth consecutive top 5-charting effort.
