If it takes a village, then Selena Gomez definitely has her tribe to thank for supporting her all these years. The singer celebrated the release of her emotional new single "Lose You to Love Me" on Tuesday night (Oct. 22) by graciously giving it up for the Selenators who've always had her back. "Thank you all for standing by my side through the highs and lows," Gomez wrote above a snippet of the stark iPhone-shot video for the song.
"I couldn't do it without you all and I can't wait to start my next adventure with you."

The singer also posted a longer note in which she paid homage to her spiritual side, writing, "I'm literally just laying down and thanking Jesus... Where my father has taken me and placing me is exactly where I am meant to be."

The song, co-produced by Billie Eilish's older brother, songwriter/producer Finneas, is the first taste of Gomez's upcoming, as-yet-untitled third studio album. The powerful first verse tells a tale of heartbreak that leads to a realization of self-love. "You promised the world and I fell for it/ I put you first and you adored it/ Set fires to my forest/ And you let it burn," Gomez sings as she rises to the redemptive chorus, "This dancing was killing me softly/ I needed to hate you to love me, yeah/ To love love, yeah/ To love love, yeah/ To love, yeah."
