Pascal Siakam Seeking Max Extension From Raptors

Pascal Siakam is seeking a maximum contract extension in his discussions with the Toronto Raptors, sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Siakam would become the top player on the free agent market if he is unable to agree to a deal this month.

Siakam is eligible for either a four-year, $130 million max deal from a rival team as a restricted free agent, or a five-year, $170 million max with the Raptors.

The Raptors could create up to $81.1 million in cap space by waiting on an extension with Siakam.

Siakam wants to re-sign with the Raptors, sources tell Charania.
