Lady Gaga Promises 'LG6' Album Is On the Way: See Pic

Lady Gaga has remained busy over the past few years getting her feet wet in Hollywood and the beauty industry, but the pop star is ready to return to her roots with a new album. The "Shallow" singer shared a photo of herself in the studio via Instagram Stories on Thursday (Sept. 19).
She's pictured in front of a soundboard sporting dark sunglasses and a leopard-printed dress with her arms shrugged. The caption is simple -- #LG6 -- but it's just enough confirmation for fans that her sixth album is officially on the way. Gaga first teased new music in March, cheekily tweeting: "Rumors I’m pregnant? Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6." The record will be the follow-up to 2016's Grammy-nominated Joanne.
The news adds to Gaga's ongoing momentum this year, as she's scored a Golden Globe, Oscar and two Grammys for "Shallow." She also announced her Las Vegas residencies, Enigma and Jazz & Piano, will be extended into 2020 and recently launched her Haus Laboratories makeup line.
