Celtics To Sign Yante Maten To Exhibit 10 Deal

The Celtics will sign Yante Maten, a source tells Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe (Twitter link). The pact will be an Exhibit 10 deal.

Maten played for the Heat on a two-way contract last season, splitting time between Miami and the Sioux Falls Skyforce. The forward averaged 23.5 points per game in the G League.

The Celtics already have filled both of their two-way contracts (Tremont Waters, Max Strus). The addition of Maten brings the team’s training camp roster to 20, which is the maximum allowed.
