The Best Reactions to Taylor Swift's Album 'Lover'

It’s not every day Taylor Swift releases a new, full-length album. Today is that day.
At midnight, TayTay unleashed Lover, her seventh studio set and the followup to her 2017 hit Reputation. With all the predictability of the sun rising in the east each morning, Swifties sent social media into near-meltdown as fans clicked on and tuned into their new favorite jams.
The album is “very much a celebration of love, in all its complexity, coziness, and chaos,” Taylor tweeted. “It’s the first album of mine that I’ve ever owned, and I couldn’t be more proud.”
Everyone else was proud too, as Lover trended on Twitter. Fans shut out their worlds and explored all 12 tracks for Easter eggs and hidden gems. Some cried, others freaked out. And many shared their experiences on social media with memes.
Check out some of the best reaction below.
