It’s Friday and Taylor Swift has dropped a new song. Which means, the Twitterverse has been a virtual funhouse of memes.
At midnight, TayTay dropped “Lover,” the romantic title track from her forthcoming seventh album. It’s said to be dedicated to Swift’s partner Joe Alwyn, and Swifties were immediately smitten with it as #LoverAtMidnight trended for hours through the night.
“Lover” follows the previously released “ME!,” “You Need to Calm Down” and “The Archer”. Swifties can barely contain their excitement for the new song. “Country Taylor is back,” one fan enthused. Check out some of the best memes below.
