Blink-182 'Locked Down' in Hotel Following El Paso Shooting

Mark Hoppus and his bandmates in blink-182 are "locked down" in their El Paso hotel room following a shooting that resulted in multiple fatalities at a nearby shopping center.
On Saturday (Aug. 3), Hoppus tweeted that he was en route to a mall when his security team informed him that there was an active shooter near their destination. They returned to their hotel, where news of another shooting in the area broke: "over the intercom system they just announced that there are reports of another active shooter directly across the street at a location different from the first shootings."

the intercom said there are reports of another shooting across the street at the bassett place mall. i don’t see or hear police or helicopters so hopefully it’s just an over abundance of caution and someone got the malls confused. so terrible.
