Mike Epps brings some funny jokes in ‘Only One Mike’
I have been lucky to watch a good amount of stand up specials lately. A few of them had me laughing until it hurts. Others I laughed a few times, while still others just weren’t that funny to me. When I heard Mike Epps was having a new stand up special coming to Netflix called Only One Mike I hoped I would get a chance to watch it. I was able to get a screener of this stand up special and this is what I thought of it.

Filmed at Constitution Hall in Washington, DC, the one-hour special reminds us why Epps is a one-of-a-kind comedian as he reflects on the gift (and curse) of raising four daughters, overcoming childhood dyslexia and the mysterious infinite wisdom of old people.

This was an alright stand up special. I can’t say it had me laughing until it hurt, but there were moments that gave me some strong laughs. His political jokes made me laugh the most, while a few of the crude ones made me chuckle a bit too. I don’t think this stand up special will be for everyone, but fans of Mike Epps will most likely enjoy it.
