Snoop Dogg Cusses Out Facebook & Instagram For Banning Louis Farrakhan
Los Angeles, CA – Minister Louis Farrakhan, who spoke at Nipsey Hussle’s memorial service, was exiled amongst others from Facebook and Instagram in a company-wide ban of “dangerous” content. Snoop Dogg posted a video to Instagram standing with the minister.
“All he ever do is tell the truth,” he said. “What if we ban y’all? What if we stop fucking with y’all, Facebook and Instagram?”
Facebook banned Farrakhan, Alex Jones, Paul Nehlen, Laura Loomer, Milo Yiannopoulos and Paul Joseph Watson for anti-Semitic and “dangerous” language on Thursday (May 2).
“I stand with him. Ban me muthafucka,” Snoop Dogg addressed Facebook in his video. “It’s not right. There’s a bunch of muthafuckas y’all could ban, but y’all ban Minister Louis Farrakhan.”
A Facebook spokesperson said in a statement issued to CNN Business that the company has “always banned individuals or organizations that promote or engage in violence and hate, regardless of ideology.”
“The process for evaluating potential violators is extensive,” the statement continued, “and it is what led us to our decision to remove these accounts today.”
The hashtag #WeAreFarrakhan emerged in support of the minister on Instagram after Snoop Dogg posted his video.
